In South Sudan, years of armed conflict, forced displacement, poverty, and political instability have devastated the education system. Thousands of children and youth particularly in rural and conflict-affected areas have never stepped into a classroom. Many schools lack basic infrastructure, learning materials, trained teachers, or safe environments for children to thrive. Girls, children with disabilities, and returnee youth face the highest barriers to education.

South Sudan Relief Foundation (SSRF) believes that education is not only a human right it is a pathway to peace, recovery, and resilience. Investing in learning equips children and youth with the tools to rebuild their communities, challenge cycles of poverty, and shape a future of dignity and opportunity.
